Research on application of Palmcrist extract for the purpose of killing Whitefly (Bemisiatabaci Genn). The main vector of Cassava leaf Mosaic virus transmission
Result:
Ratio of Palmcrist leaf material/Ethanol the most suitable for collecting Palmcrist leaf extract is 1/6, the optimal Ricinine content is 1,23mg/g.
Efficacy against Whitefly in the laboratory showed, use the extract at a concentration of 25ml/L the highest efficiency of killing it is 60,19%.
Efficacy against it in the field showed, use the extract at a concentration of 25ml/L the highest efficiency of killing itis 59,71% after 3 days; 51,43% after 7 days.
To control Whitefly, depending on the density of Whiteflie in the field, spray Palmcrist leaf extract 3-4 days/time.
