The Laser Technology Center (NACENLAS) would like to send greetings, best wishes to your Agencies, Enterprises, Scientists, Experts and Colleagues.

NACENLAS was established on November 5, 1986 (originally called the Institute of Laser Technology), is a unit of the National Center for Technological Progress, Ministry of Science and Technology; has its legal status, operation and transaction in accordance with law. NACENLAS always aims at the main goal of applied science and technology and transferring modern and advanced new technologies.

NACENLAS would like to send an invitation to cooperate with your Agencies, Schools, Enterprises, Scientists, Experts, Colleagues, together with NACENLAS to carry out activities for developing science and technology research, deploying and applying high and new technologies, taking the needs of society as the hub of applied research activities in order to solve practical tasks of serving production development, socio-economic development, national security and defense in the field of laser, optical – infrared technology, etc. to meet the industrialization – modernization of the country.

NACENLAS missions:
  1. Scientific research, application and transfer of high and new technologies in the fields within the scope of their assigned functions and tasks, including: laser technology, photonics, infrared optics, biomedical and applied engineering in other fields such as environment, energy, transportation… in production, life and national security.
  2. To test and apply new technologies in the above fields.
  3. Cooperate, coordinate in training, organize training and retraining activities to improve professional qualifications for scientific and technical staff in the same professional field.
  4. Cooperation in scientific research, joint venture, association, investment in testing, technical development, new technology, scientific and technological services with science – technology organizations and businesses in local and abroad.
  5. Organize and coordinate in organizing scientific conferences and seminars.
  6. Consultancy, appraisal of suitable technology and high-tech projects in the fields according to the duties.
  7. Manufacturing, trading and providing services in:
    a) Testing, standardizing and evaluating the quality of products and technological equipment in the field of operation.
    b) Consulting, designing, scientific research and technological development, providing technical solutions, testing products.
    c) Laboratory, measuring and testing services.
    d) Transfer of technology, technical solutions, technological know-how.
    e) Products are originated from research results.
    f) High-tech products and goods.
    g) Specialized supplies, components and raw materials.
    h) Machinery, equipment, software or production lines according to the Center’s activities
  1. International cooperation.

    a) Laser for Medical purposes.
    b) Laser for Industry.
    c) Laser applications in optical information transmission.
    d) Optoelectronics in servicing of national defense and security and environmental monitoring.
    e) Electronics for healthcare.
    f) Environmental monitoring.
